I don't know that I've ever heard a baseball crowd get this involved in a game, and it's only the 2nd inning.

it was like this a lot when Texas played in the tallahassee super a few years back.
they're into it like the aggies are, except they try new and different things. so basically it is nothing like what aggies do.

They have fun at the games and you know the players enjoy it. They just sang "Hail to Buster" to Buster Posey after he hit the two run bomb.

I can understand FSU "dog-piling" but North Carolina... I understand it is exciting, but they have been in the national championship game the last two years. More than anything I would hold back just to avoid serious injury when you still have more to play for.

Actually, the FSU crowd was pretty mild today, probably because it was 100 degrees out there. My wife and I drank 4 bottles of water each, and could have used more. I don't know how the players stayed hydrated. The Animals were pretty well behaved - no snide comments about the ancestry of any WSU players, no 4 letter words aimed at Gene Stevenson, just the usual traditional chants and songs. The crowd did boo the kid that spiked the FSU shortstop on Friday, but it didn't seem to bother anyone. Everybody was really into the opportunity to get this team to Omaha. Even some of the blue hairs were clapping during the FSU rallies.

While there is no question this team can hit anybody, it will be interesting to see the mindset when they get to Rosenblatt. Is this another team who had a goal to get to Omaha, and is going to be satisfied just getting there? Or do they have the swagger to try and make the finals?

There is a large coningency headed for Nebraska from Tallahassee - you veterans of Little Texas can help show them the ropes!
