Anyone want to share a lobe of Fois Gras?

So I am throwing down this weekend and want to prepare some Fois Gras. The liver is almost 1.5 pounds and that is too big no matter how decadent I feel like and was hoping someone here wanted to experience what will be a forbidden dish before too long.

It would be available Friday or Saturday and would be around $50. It would probably make 4-6 servings and is very easy to prepare (flash seared for maybe 30 seconds each side)

man, I wish I wasn't recuperating this weekend- that being said, why don't you make some pate and stretch out what you aren't serving immediately?
 
That is an outstanding idea as well. Another forum suggested I check with Grapevine before paying the $30 for overnight fedex from Hudson Valley Foie Gras.
 
My wife's kinfolk smuggled in a whole foie gras when they came to visit from Alsace. The with-cruelty ones are really, really good.
