Anyone want to rent me their motorhome for 1 week?

Wife wants to go to Virginia by motorhome vs. car ("it would be easier on the kids & me if we could move about a bit more than being stuck in a single seat").

FWIW, I have a CDL & am used to a longbed crew cab truck as a daily driver.

Just about any size would work.

2nd Best option would be to rent a travel trailer & save on hotel costs (i.e. park in a Wal Mart lot overnight vs. a hotel room).

All offers considered, however the wife likes the motorhome option best.

So, what do you think? Anyone want to rent me their motorhome?

I don't have one, but I've rented one from Bates RV rental in Houston twice. Once for a road trip to Omaha and one for a road trip to Ames. Worked out great both times. I'm sure there are places in Austin that will rent you one.

I was sorta hoping for the HF hookup, i.e. lower rate than an RV center. That, & it would probably equal more than one month's note for one week's time.
