This is probably a long shot -

Maybe someone wants to patch there St Aug. lawn.

I'm starting a landscape project and some of the grass has got to go.

It's an old, old lawn, well groomed&tended. (just a hunch - probably Raleigh variety).

just come & get it.

Last year I had to get rid of a bunch of Raleigh sod. I rented a sod cutter and cut it, then posted an ad for free sod on Craigslist's free stuff section. Within minutes I had about 30 people wanting to take it off my hands which they did. Saved me a lot of work for free and the sod got reused.

Suspect what brnt says is true - between craig's list and freecycle.com, I'm sure you can find plenty of takers. especially w/ the dry conditions over the last couple of years - I know if i was there, I'd be jumping at hte chance to resod my yard for free!
