Anyone got the "final" version? How is it? It looks like it is far superior to IE.

I'm using it. No problems. There are a few sites for work that don't support it.

No reason not to use Firefox if you like it, just keep IE handy.

I'm using it but the tab browsing feature still doesn't work for me. I want when I click on an external link for it to open in a new tab of the same window. That's what I have set under options but it still doesn't work. It worked on .8 with an extension I downloaded. Oh well. My only complaint.

I've been tinkering with Firefox since March. FF 1.0 works fine for me, now that I got it working the way I want. Yes, it's better than IE in a lot of respects, even if it's not quite as smooth and functional as Maxthon (the best IE shell browser, IMO). Get Adblock and Tabbrowser Extensions at a minimum, plus whatever others you find useful. Everyone should have a copy.

I cannot find the TabbedBrowsing extension. But I just use the scroll button to open in a new tab, and the left click to open in a new window.

My computer still won't allow some streaming stuff to work. Some streaming video, as well as audio like sportsradio1300.com don't work in Firefox or IE.

It must be your PC as far as getting 1300. I'm listening to it now using FF.

Texasdoc - yes, you have to use quasi-3rd party add-ons with Firefox.
