A charity 501 organization I'm on the board for is planning to have one at Black Hawk in Pflugerville at that time. We benefit the Pflugerville HS band.
I'm not sure what the cost per person/team will be yet, but it will probably in the afternoon ( I'm guessing starting at 1:00-ish?).
The money we raise will go mostly towards college grants for qualified seniors (based on a process that polls teachers, looks at academic results, participation outside of band, volunteerism, and need, among other pertinent things). Part of any proceeds will go towards some replacement instruments (some percussion or special pieces, but mostly brass instruments that are loaned or rented to band members, depending on a kid's situation).
