Brave has been my default browser for a while now.

It’s based on the underlying Chrome code (Chromium) so it is basically Chrome with the Google stuff stripped out. Chrome uses a lot of RAM (memory) which can slow your computer down, and Brave performs much better in this regard.

And Chrome extensions work in Brave so it’s a pretty simple migration if you have browser extensions you like. The new Firefox is quite good as well.
