Anyone seen a good deal on a desktop recently?

Looks like it's time for a computer upgrade. I know that there are some real experts lurking around here and I figured I would start here and see if anyone has seen any good computer deals lately. While I'm at it, I'm open to advice on what, or what not, to buy. I basically use it for home stuff, surfing the net, Itunes, basic MS office stuff.

I'll bet there are more than a few folks here that could even BUILD you a good / great / awesome desktop PC with just a little bit of fundage...

Unless you're a gamer there is little point to builing your own custom computer. I recently purchased a Dell Vostro PC for my father for ~$500 and it came with a 19" flat panel. It is a great little system and does everything you need it to do just fine.

Gateway computer

I use to build all my own computers since college but have now turned to buying them pre-built. THey've become so cheap there is no point these days especially if you want a clean copy of an operating system with it. The one I linked above comes with everything I need except a good graphics card but I don't game anymore so I didn't need one.
