Anyone remember Harry Reems?

The documentary about the film, actors and story behind and because of it is excellent. It's currently on Netflix if anybody is interested. Very informative and I mean that in a serious way. I am afraid anything I say could be twisted into something it isn't so I will just stop with, "watch it".

Inside Deep Throat Trailer

In the fall of 1975, Deep Throat was shown in the Burdine Auditorium. I went with my sister, her fiancé, and a couple of her fiance's friends. We sat in the second row. A "mountain mama" type, wearing sandals and a dirndl skirt, came in and sat in the row in front of us. She carried a bag of carrots.

When the movie ended and the lights came up, I glanced over the backs of the front-row seats and saw the carrot bag, empty, on the floor.

We never heard any crunching.

I've heard that Linda Lovelace began her c*cksucking career in a trailer behind the famous and infamous Nezzie's Ballroom on the NW corner of Highways 6 and 21 in Bryan.

I played music there often, when I was at Texas A&M, but that was just a bit ahead of her time.

I'd pulled out and left for dental school in Houston before she came to town.
