One of Austin's most intriguing homes up for sale

I saw them build this thing from my old office and have driven by it many times. Took forever to build and I always wondered how fabulous it must be once it was done. But after seeing all these photos, I am not really that impressed. Thought there would be a lot more to it. Great location, but very unconventional features. And the landscaping is hideous. Of course the only thing that is important is that the person who built it liked it for himself. But putting the price aside, I don’t think it is going to appeal to a lot of people. Gonna be a tough sale.

(Yea, I know, if you can afford it, that's not necessarily an issue, but still) Looks like it would be waaayy too much trouble to maintain, though.
