Anyone like waffles? Where?

My in-laws are visiting this weekend and my father-in-law loves waffles. Any suggestion on where to take them for a saturday or sunday morning breakfast? Nothing fancy (not any brunches).

Wish Kerbey Lane or Magnolia did waffles.

Thanks for your help!

Waffle House?

I can't think of anywhere that serves waffles. What's up with that? Waffles are good.

Damn, what a great question. I watch this with anticipation.

Tell ya what. Go post a request on Rusty's and I bet you will get some incredible recipes. Go buy a waffle iron and make them for your company. Have mimosa's and other things for them and make it a breakfast food feast.

By eliminating brunch places, you have eliminated the best waffles. Chez Zee makes good ones. And they also make creme brulee french toast, which is out-freaking-standing.

Fried Chicken and Waffles baby lol

Seriously best waffles in town are at the Original Pancake house off of Metric/Parmer. You won't be disappointed.

Waffle House, It's cheap, fast, and effective. Their Pecan Waffle is great! The only one I know of is out by the Airport. It is NOT fancy, let me warn you.

After Hurricane Katrina, the only thing open around New Orleans for 25 miles was a Shoney's, or a Waffle House. I ate Waffles about twenty days straight, and I still like them. Face it, they're good!

StarSeed, by the University, has awesome pancakes and breakfast, I bet they make a great waffle as well.

Well, we went to Kerbey Lane, having heard waffles have been added to their menu from poster above.

I'm here to tell ya.. the one on 183 near 360 does NOT have waffles. When we asked about waffles, Modesto, the waiter, looked at me like I was nuts.

Oh well, had the blueberry pancakes. Father-in-law had regular pancakes. I'm just not jazzed about Kerbey Lane's food. I know I'm in the minority. I can make better at home.

Crap. I am hungry now and want waffles. I live near to the one on the Drag but damnit. I don't want to drive to a Waffle House at this time of night anyways. Ugh.

La Quinta has a DIY waffle machine in the lobby in the morning. With all the trimmings. How many times do I have to say this people?

Original Pancake House. I usually shy away from chains, but that place rocks. The only Austin location is on Parmer and Metric, but worth the drive.

Try Jim's.

"WAFFLE" house. Pecan Waffle. Be there aloha. If you want pancakes, go to the international house of pancakes. If you want a Lawyer, go to a Lawyer's office. If you want Mexican Food, go to a Mexican Food Restaurant. Don't go to a Mexican Food place, and order a steak, it might be goat. Chocolate chip cookies? Mrs. Fields. Doughnuts, go to Krispy Kreme. Want to go bowling, try one of those places with a big BOWLING pin on the sign.

They are trying to tell you something with their name, and sign. Pay attention, or be disappointed........
