Anyone have ATT Wireless Broadband?

I am looking at getting the service along with the USB laptop connect card to replace my crappy-*** Hughes satellite service. The coverage is good in my area, but was wondering if anyone had experienced problems with it. Also, if you have used the wireless router with the card - how did that work out?

I had a USB connect broadband from AT&T. I got it in August, and returned it two weeks later, It just is too unreliable, hard to connect out of town, very slow even on a 3 g connection. Not happy on this end.

I know they have a new card availible now, but i opted not to try it.

I have had it for almost a year and it works great for me, but I don't use it as my full time connection (I have AT&T broadband through routers at home).

Mine is a PCMCIA card, not USB. I only use it for travel and I am usually in a 3G area, but it is as dependable as my AT&T BlackBerry and usually has a stronger signal.

I did set mine up using a hack to avoid the preconfiured AT&T profile and continue to bypass the AT&T settings. I would recommend that and it is very easy to find on the internet and do. That was faster the last time I checked the two connection profiles.

I looked into getting it, but could not find a data plan large enough for my needs. I hacked my BJ2 and use ICS, when away from home. I get a 10mbps connection that is pretty steady. My longest connect time was 4 hours.
