Anyone ever heard of Biltmore Who's Who?

Apparently it's an Executive and Professional Registry for networking. I got a mailing saying I was a potential candidate for the Dallas community but have never heard of it. Anyone now anything about it or if it's even worth looking into?

I'm assuming they pulled my name off a professional society I'm a member of.

I would hold off.

Biltmore is an established name in American history... but it has no history of connections with a "Who's Who" list. I would recommend not responding.

I received an offer for some Who's Who registry a year or two ago. My professional accomplishments have been fairly modest, so getting the invitation was almost a yellow flag in and of itself.

It seems many of these "Who's who" registries are vanity lists, where they'll milk you for personal info and also try to sell you a pricey copy of the book.

I decided to pass on it.

I see lots of these emails in our company spam box, and considering they're addressed to people who never worked here, I am confident it is a dirty money/info grab.
