Anyone Else See the Accident?

We parked on the golf course (lot 3) norht of the Rose Bowl at about noon. In the row of parked cars in front of us was a new black Mustang convertible with a car load of Bama fans (I couldn't help but envy their luck with such a great rent car). Our little group tailgated long after the game and the Bama fans in the Mustang did, too. They left before us though. When we finally left and were going south on 210, there was a bad accident that involved a new black Mustang convertible. I don't know if it was the Bama fans, but how many black Mustang convertibles could there have been in that area at that time of night? There were a lot of firetrucks and ambulances but don't know if anyone was hurt or how bad. If it was the Bama fans, it was a bad end to what should have been a very happy day for them.

How could you even tell what that was before the accident? It was a pile of total destruction!!! My heart hurts for all involved in the accident. Godspeed to the victims and their families. Do you have a link to a news story about this wreck? I can't imagine there were any survivors.

A bunch of ambulances screamed past us as we walked out of the Rose Bowl area after the game. Didn't see the accident, but I assume that's where they were all going.

Cali. drivers absolutely suck, had to lock up and skid sideways on 210 by Staples due to cut off. Bama guys in Courtyard with us got T-boned in their taxi. These laid back Cali people turn into werewolves behind the wheel.

Saw that on our way out, but the accident was in the final cleanup stages by then. Very ugly looking. Glad nobody was killed.

We drove by before they really started trying to get them out (I think) since there were not that many firemen there. The driver was slumped onto the steering wheel but the passenger was looking to his right. We thought the driver might have been dead but it's great to hear he was not. It was pretty ugly, and it cost us about 15 minutes. The cops did a good job of taking only the number of freeway lanes that they really needed so traffic could keep moving somewhat.
