I mean...you know...just for fuel purposes, cause I know it's illegal to drink anything you distill at home. But, if you were wanting to make a very refined fuel from some type of grain or something...anybody know about equipment and stuff...for fuel?

Watch a few episodes of MASH for help...

AFAIK there is a way to do it legally. I googled home distilling and found lots of pages with equipment and info. If you have to buy licenses I doubt it is worth it.

I do know there is no shortage of home made liquor in almost every state I have been in. So I am guessing there is a way to do it.

Beverly Hillbilles has better info than MASH does on home distillation, but keep a sharp eye out for them revenooers.

There is a way to distill by freezing the liquid and removing the ice. Not very efficient, because you have to repeat the process (and I think add in more each time). I have seen it discussed with Eisbock (sp?) for beer, but some side comments hinted that this can work to make stronger stuff as well.

Ahh... here you go applejack

I am pretty sure distilling is illegal with the intent to drink it. I think you can only do it to make your own fuel. But I have not seen the law. Heck it was illegal to brew beer at home until Nixon (I think?) repealed the law.
