Things to keep in mind:

Please be able to divide by 4 before asking me "how old i really am". Its not funny when you say 4 or 3. It makes you look stupid.

Stop asking me what day I celebrate my birthday on in non-leap years. I obviously am not going to start celebrating my birthday in march, nor would any reasonable child decide to wait an extra day.

If you dont know why 2000 is a leap year and 2100 is not a leap year then you dont fully understand the gregorian calendar.

Other people born on leap year: Saul Williams (1972), Ja Rule (1976), Chucky Brown (1968-NBA Champion with Rockets in 1995) - and to be honest after that it really drops off, but that doesnt mean I cant be someone special.

Happy B-day!!

I was just thinking about my uncle whose B-day was on the 29th. I remember him in his 50s always telling everyone that he was 13 years old.

A friend of mine is due to give birth today. She'd rather it wasn't until tomorrow, but I think it'd be kind cool (though obviously I don't have to live with it).

Alum03 - Would you rather have your birthday on a regular day or leap year day? Do you come across annoying problems with IT systems or websites not recognising the DOB? She's worried about that.

I am going to a leap year birthday party tonight - she is also 7 years old.

My question is, when do they let you celebrate your 21st birthday - on the 28th or 1st?

I suspect for legal purposes, it would be whatever the day after the 28th is, whether that falls on the 29th or the 1st, depending on the year.
