Any of you Austinites seen Swope play?

Sort of a cross between Ed McCaffery's route running, Jacob Hester's throw-backness, Jason Seahorn's photogenics, and Wayne Chrebet's toughness.

He's like a coach on the field, too.

My personal opinions:

Bundy, do you know if Swope even has a four or five star ranking or is on the national 100 list? We don't have any of those type of players yet, that I know of, with the ones committed so far.

I know we offered and lost 4 of em' to UT, and offered and lost 2 more of them to lsu in head to head battles.

This would be our first one?

Thanks.

Winning coaches sign the four and five star players, say, "it's about winning", and just go out and consistently win!

Losing coaches sign the two and three star players left over, say "it's about player development", and just go out and consistently lose!

He's bigger than I figured he'd be. Offensive videos look nice, but I thikn he has a shot to be a heckuva safety.

He has top line speed but the clips I've seen don't really show any "wiggle". I really think his future lies as a safety.

Sheryl Swoops comitted to aggy? They're really reaching now.

And miller...please...we get it.

He looks good on film. If his stated sub-4.5 speed is accurate, why didn't Mack make him an offer? Is it because he is a white running back in a black man's world?

Slot receiver or DB. Not a RB. He runs straight up and down with absolutely no body lean. Easily knocked off his feet. Good speed. Likely 3* imo.
