On how to take the slide off of a Springfield XD after leaving the guide spring out?

First, you should tell us what a Springfield XD is.

My guess is a rifle? No, I'm not going to search up "Springfield XD".

It's probably the bypass line.

Ball bearings. It's all ball bearings nowadays.

Maybe you need a refresher course.

I'm almost sure its not the ball bearings or bypass line. Here's a picture for a better idea of what I'm talking about.
