How does anyone have Directv and not have the sports subscription? They claimed this was being broadcast in HD, but it sure looks standard to me.

It's ch. 614 I've got practically everything on Directv except the Sports Pack and I pay $81/mo. It was going to cost an extra $24/ mo to get EspnU etc and didn't really feel it was worth it. But thanks for understanding.

DirectTV does not carry the ESPNU HD channel. I certainly hope they start to soon. Just this past week I noticed that Comedy Central now has an HD channel on there. The great thing about an HD channel is that even when the game is being shown in SD, it will shrink the sides so the picture looks better. Last night I had to watch our game and USA soccer in SD and it is no fun.

I don't give a **** about HD coverage.

I'm just glad that I live 1,500 miles away from Austin and I get to see every game.
