Any guess on how many commits this weekend?

I think Mack would be happy to get 3-4 more, but I am thinking just 2-3. Depending on who gets offers, I think this weekend could be rather uneventful, but we should get a few guys to commit on the spot, while the rest feel the love and commit later this year.

I would love to get Walters and Allan today...if so, it would be a great weekend.

I know that this is a huge decision and guys want to look around but I have been a little suprised with the lack of defensive recruits jumping on board early. With Muschamp in and Akina still there I would have thought that they would have been diving over each other to commit.

I am excited about the ones we have gotten, don't get me wrong. Anybody in the know got any insight into our chances with:

Okafor....local kid that thought would have jumped on board early
McFarland...have read he likes UT but wants to visit other schools including LSU
Brent
Loston...read favors OU
McAllister
Moss
Williams
Vaccaro...thought he was a silent verbal, but nothing so far
Allen

Walters....haven't heard much but imagine he is weighing his options

I think our junior days have been more quiet this year since we're looking OOS a LOT more. I've heard rumblings that we are very close to landing a big defensive prospect but sources are mum on who it is.

OOS players that have received offers;

1. Devon Kennard, DE *****
2. Dre Kirkpatrick, CB *****

I don't believe Cierre Wood has received an offer yet, but i've heard we are recruiting him.

Since the coaches are talking about the necessity of moving DEs to DT, it wouldn't hurt to recruit a few highly ranked DTs.
