Any good tips on visiting Bahrain?

I'm heading to Bahrain (and Dubai) on business in a couple of months. Can anyone provide any good tips for while I'm there. I suspect I'll only be there 2 days as the rest of the time will be in Dubai.

Did a few liberty calls there when I was I Navy. It's fun in a Star Wars cantina solider of fortune kind of way. I don't remember much or where we went, except my by buddy, a NCIS officer, thought I was picking up a hooker at a bar. She was pretty hot, and he couldn't believe it. She was actually a stewardess with British Airways who grew up in San Marcos. Instant Texas connection. Some guys just refuse to believe the fraternite Texans abroad share.

malls. lots of malls. hanging out in the malls is a national pastime there. Eat a lot of shawarmas. They are the size of a taco so you can easily down 4-5 in one sitting.
Do not bother checking out the "Tree of life." It's a sad looking tree in the middle of nowhere.

Looks like I'll be there solo (wasn't the plan). Dubai and Bahrain seem pretty safe to me.
