There's a mansion on the main street in Salado that has a restaurant ... just up the road from the Stagecoach Inn. They even serve alcohol if you buy their club membership (I think it was like $5). I had dinner there a couple of times and it was damn good.

I personally like the Pizza Hut in Salado...

Been there many a times on my way to El Paso...

Why are going through Salado to get to El Paso?

I second the Mansion place. Old historic house.

Get the glazed pork chops. Food is incredible.

I also liked the mansion place, went there for the Christmastime festival and it was very good
