Any connections in energy law in Houston?

I graduated cum laude from UHLC in 2006. I took a non-legal job at a natural gas pipeline company last Spring (it is legal related, I work in the Regulatory Affairs department and do FERC filings and compliance). I have been researching and writing a lot.

I really want to practice energy law and am open to anything. I would probably prefer in-house but am open to firms. I would love to hear any advice or some job leads.

Tell me more about labor relations. I haven't heard about this field before.

I really am open to anything in energy as long as I can use my law degree.

I do consulting work in the energy industry and have worked with people who are in labor relations that had some kind of legal background. They deal with union or bargaining unit related issues, negotiations, etc. If you work for a large utililty, you probably have a labor relations dept. Just a thought.
