any chance ron paul runs as a libertarian?

the libertarian party convention isn't until may. regardless of whether he's the "perfect" libertarian, it would be absolutely huge for the party. and with his book coming out in april, he'd have even more publicity.

Doubtful. I think many states have a rule that if you appear on the ballot for a primary, you cannot appear again on the ballot in the general election for a different party. I haven't researched that, but I did hear it on one of the news shows when they were discussing this possibility. Pretty much out of the question since Paul appears to still be in the race and on the ballot in all 50 primaries.
