there 'demands' are ridiculous but could the WS protestors and the rise of the TP mean that we are finally ready to 'throw the bums out'?

I consider myself a little right of center and I'd like to see a new party emerge "The moderate party". I used to be pretty pessimistic about this possibility but maybe the country's mood is finally right.

The wall street protesters are left wing anarchists. The tea party folk just want responsible government. I don't see them joining forces.

I've just about had it with the hyperpartisan idiocy. Next time a person tells me they are going to "fight" for their beliefs I'm goinng to tell them they should be in the WWF. We need people who can work towards solutions and negotiate intelligently. You gotta be tough, sure, but damnit Congress shouldn't look a Vince McMahon is writing the script.

Or we need comfortable conservative and libertarian majorities in he House and Senate with a like minded president. I do agree those who disprove their conservative or libertarian credentials ought to refrain from running again or be barred from winning their primary.

This budget deal this past August was a total farce and ought to get a lot of politicians hung out to dry right beside their Flea Bagger and Carpet Bagger buddies on Wall Street.

Roger, Roger, Roger. You let your blind hatred of the Tea Party cloud your point of view. Right now Wall Street does what Congress allows them to do. Put the right people in Congress and you go a long way to stopping Wall Street's excesses because the right people won't be there with a blank check written on the backs of the American people when Wall Street fucks up.

Those companies that screw up and fail should fail. Congress should not be in the business of bailing out banks, Wall Street, or GM. Once those responsible enough to know this are in Congress (and we WILL continue putting them there) in great enough numbers then we will be ending crony capitalism and heading back to a more pure form of a capitalist economy.

And what if "tea baggers" had signs like this?

Those racist ********! Absolutely no class. All they care about is getting Obama out of office because he is black.

I suppose this guy is an Oreo though right? He doesn't just care about the future of his country.

The Tea Partiers are smart enough to know that the protests should be taking place in D.C. where the control over Wall Street is realized through legal means. Those guys on Wall Street don't care about those people outside, they can't change anything standing out there, except where people walk down the street.
