Anthony Cook Leaving The Team .....

I thought he was just starting to come up and begin to fulfill some of his potential...was set to start it appeared. Must be something very serious for him. I've dug around a bit and it does seem related to the racial tensions and his ...".youthfulness" I'll say...but that's purely my view.

He's not back on the team roster on the official site. And Alford already got his DB #4 for Fall practice. Makes you wonder if it's a Kennedy Lewis situation and he won't be able to go for this year, but still wants to stay on the team while he gets his class situation cleared up.

I think the starters at CB will be interesting to see and suspect the starting group will evolve even without injury. Green, Jamison and Watson? Adimora at the Spur. Look forward to seeing what Crawford can do too

Did I miss it or have any of these players apologized to The University, the administration, their teammates, the fans, et al for the WAY they did things?

A clueless coach, who possesses no common sense, goes out of his way to offend the source of his outrageous income.

A bunch of unappreciative puppets, who embarrass their benefactors and school

Reduction in attendance from 100,000 to 25,000, with no gameday experience

I'm getting less enthusiastic by the moment

Speaking of Adimora - IMO its hard not to be impressed by this player

And speaking of Crawford

From the start he said it was for personal reasons and had nothing to do with anyone or anything. He did not do or say anything to embarass himself, his team mates, the program or the University.

Kids get home sick. They get in and out of bad relationships. They get a feeling of not belonging. They get the feeling of being lost. I would imagine that there is not a lot of buy in and devotion to Mensa Tom. Simply can't picture that being a locker room with a "ride or die" family vibe.

He is here and he is a Longhorn.

Add the NCAA allowing crap to be put on the uniform, and the enthusiasm is gone. You know our California coach will let the players put all kinds of crap on our uniforms. My Saturdays may not include football at all. Wish I was young enough for some exciting hobbies I passed up to watch football all these years. Lesson learned.
