Another Palin moment for Obama

In a news conference Wednesday, President Barack Obama twice referred to his oldest daughter, Malia, as being 13 years old.

Not quite. She's 12.

Perhaps the president was already thinking ahead to Malia's approaching birthday: She turns 13 on July 4.

I don't know when his daughter's bday is but I have a 5 year old that turns 6 in 4 weeks. When co-workers recently asked me how old my kids were, I answered 4 and 6.

I was just rounding up since it was so close.

On a number line 12.97 is a lot closer to 13 than it is to 12, but I guess the way we categorize age Obama could be technically cosidered "wrong." I don't think this is quite the same as saying Paul Revere was riding through the countryside ringing bells to warn the British they can't take our guns, but if it makes you happy general then I'm glad Obama made this "mistake"

By the way, I'm imagining this 'slip" is getting the "SECOND COMING" treatment on Fox. I think this may be a better use of their air time than a continuing battle with Jon Stewart in which the Fox crew is getting its *** kicked.
