I think this is located at I35 and St.John's, where the Jack's Backyard was located. The place is a black hole for businesses, but my guess is this concept could work. Still a terrible location.
you'd be surprised, cheezy places like that can do really good b/c of the locals they will create, all they need is decent food and reasonable drink prices and I'm sure it will do fine
So far so good. The last couple of days it was packed till just about closed. Guess people make the circuit of getting crack, then eating there, then hitting up one of the rub n tugs nearby. How long can this last one may ask.
What is the over/under of this place making it in the black hole strip (no, not Paris Hilton)? I wish them luck but say less than six months.
Was driving by on two seperate days about a week apart. Lot was packed. So they either rented tons of cars to make it look full or overhired if they are not crowded.
I had dinner there last night it was about an average crowd not too busy. The staff is real interested in your feedback rather positive or negative. I’m planning on stopping by every now and then to checkout a game. I wish them well…
I would think that opening a Sports Bar right after all the major sports have ended and UT is out is not such a great idea. They'll be dead all summer until football and the baseball playoffs start up. By that time all the hot waitresses they hired will leave for someplace with better tips and they'll be scrambling to find talented staff.
Ate there twice last week. Once with the boss and once with some customers who wanted to try it. Both times blew hard. The food is below average, the service is terrible, the waitresses are ok, and the menu sucks. It will be a long while before I eat there again. I know they have some kinks to work out, but 45 minutes to get three plates out is ridiculous.
I'll bet their mom's and dad's are real proud of them....(at least topless dancers make make some coin. ) These morons are prostituting themselves for beer and burger tips.......
Oh well they can get new tattoos now...... brilliant !!
had lunch there with client.. the service was fine, nothing great, nothing horrible. The food was mediocre, but not terrible and the waitresses basically wear swimsuit tops and skirts. Nothing about the place was special enough for me to return. Further, we went at 12:30 and the place was a little crowded, but no wait or anything. I'll bet it closes in 6-8 months.
basically same as crayon's. Food was ok. Had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. not bad, not great.
We had 2 waitresses, as one of them was a trainee. One was hot and we welcomed her presence, the other, well, muffin top. I appreciated their efforts but they hovered.
There was a grand total of 1 woman in the place. Got there at 12:30 and it was about half full.
As mentioned, this place will not last past Thanksgiving.
