another Mac question- a Microsoft Word ??

I have Mac OSX and the HP 3820 ink jet printer. In the past, I have been able to print a document in Word format with margins that go outside the default margins (like margins less than an inch). Although I know I've previously been able to, I have not been able to print anything with margins smaller than 1 inch for a few weeks now and it is driving me crazy.. I feel like I've tried everything. I also downloaded an updated driver from hp.com. Something may have gotten turned off in preferences, but I can't figure out what. Has anyone had this problem? I am getting really frustrated b/c I need to print this voucher for work so I can get paid (I work long distance, don't have a fax machine, etc...).
anyone know how to fix it?

it gives a warning when i go to print that says "some of this document is outside the printable margin" or something and gives options "ignore" or "fix." When this warning would happen previously, i would choose ignore and the document would print fine, past the 1 inch margines. now, when i choose ignore, the document still prints with one inch margins - so anything outside one inches is cut off. does that make sense?

Hmm, I can print even with the warning to about 1/4 inch on our HP. I'm using Word v.X. ANd when I do a print preview with a pdf it looks exactly like it does out of the printer.

i know - i used to be able to do the same. i have no clue what changed - all the preferences look the same as they've always been. it's so bizarre. i have printed things practically to the edge of the page before. but now, it's one inch minimum. it is seriously driving me crazy.
anyone know what i'm doing wrong?!
