The sucking noise you hear is coming from our 'friends' to the East... at the realization Texas' recruiting class just got even better!

Now they wouldn't trade Christeen Michael for MB! Why would they?

I like how they all say "even the t-sips would rather have C-Mike, and if they say they wouldn't, they're dumbasses."

Considering Brown is still in HS, that's a bit like saying "everyone would rather have $1 million than $0, and if they say they wouldn't, they're dumbasses."

Congrats on the moral victory, I guess.

That whole thread is just WOW. Usually the majority of agroid puts the one or two idiots in their place but these guys act like they're THRILLED about this commitment -- like they dodged a bullet.

I was curious about our purported "wasteland" of running backs as aggy would like to believe. Here are the total net rushing yards for the 4 years of 2006-2009:

Texas 9,055
aggy 8,896

I'm sure they think Colt had all these, and Johnson and their QB's rushing yardage should count while our QB's shouldn't.

I don't have the inclination to post on texfags, but help yourself if so inclined!

malcolm brown is going to be an excellent back for you guys.

but i wouldnt trade him for christine micheal at this point either. i dont think you guys would swap the other way.

it's good that both teams have backs they are happy with.

IMO, Brown is the best RB prospect to attend Texas since Ced. I think he'll have a similar college career. His potential is greater than any aggy or sooner RB of the last decade except that old state-traitor from Palestine.

My day could really suck and all I have to do is read Texags and everything is all better. Laughter can add years to your life. Thank you Aggy for extending my life span.

aggy needs to look at the nfl rushers last year that had 1000 yards or more. they might notice that 3 of them were horns. if rbs "die" at texas, then i know there are a bunch more kids that would love to "die" the way that Ced, Jamal and Ricky have.

I get the argument. Which of our current crop of RBs (sans Brown) is going to run for 1,000 yards in the NFL in a season. Whittaker? Newton?

I think the bottom line has been coaching the last two years, not talent. We've been playing spread and scoring on teams with regularity, but just haven't run the ball well while doing it. When you zone block every play, you're just not going to have the holes that you had when Vince Young was running the read.

And this is why our coaches are trying to change that aspect this season.
