Annual Donation Seat Match Thread

I am considering relocating my seats and I am curious as to what 2012 brought folks who either got new season tickets or relocated. I am sure some others are interested as well. To make this easier, just respond with your donation level in 2012 and the location of your seats by section. Thanks!

I have held these seats since 1991. I began my annual donation to the LHF in 1993. While I have heard rumblings in the past about the LHF raising the minimum donation to keep seats, it has not happened, YET.

When you request a relocation you will be required to pay the donation level of the desired area. I was going to do the same last year but the asking price was too rich for my blood.

Call the Foundation and tell them where you want to sit.

They will tell you what donation it will take to sit there. If it's more than you want to donate, they can tell you where you would sit for the amount you care to give.

I started with season tickets in 2008 with a $500. donation. I have increased it over time and have steadily moved in the Upper West Stands toward the center and lower down. This year I gave a $1000.00 and sure hope to improve my parking( state garage) and seats ( 1&2) at about the 40 yd line.

Finding more than 2 seats together in the premium sections are very difficult to do. I think you will only find 6 or more in very remote sections such as the upper deck, of course I may be wrong.

We have been giving $150 a year for four seats (chairback, row 14 of west deck, on the aisle, four rows down from the portal), since 1985. The people beside us are paying $5,000 donation for their seats. Which they seem to be very pleased with; they get great OU tickets and bowl tickets. I do get a kick out of the fact that they are paying $4,850 a year more than us for good parking and OU yardline seats. Capitalism at its very best.
