annual CWS goers?

i post this on this forum so as to avoid any possible consequences from the baseball gods.

for those of you that make the trek to omaha every year no matter what, how far in advance do you book flight/hotel? to avoid studyin for my russian test i took a look at things. right now i can get cheap hotels/motels <motel 6 style> for 50 a night, flight dfw to omaha for 200, and rent car for 30 a day. was curious as to how good of deals others have found and how quick they disappear as the season goes on.

Get what you can now ... I've been 5-6 years in a row.

This is typically the point in the year when stuff starts to book fast.

Stay as close to Rosenblatt/Council Bluffs casinos as possible.

It will be the time of youur freakin' life ... I guarantee that.

I was able to book a hotel room at Harrahs in Council Bluffs the moment Chance's homer landed in the stands. I've been a couple of times and have been able to pull it off last second. I'm sure I paid more, but I don't want to go if we're not there.
