A great honor for a great player. Just by chance I happened onto a video of Jody being interviewed on the 'Texas Monthly Talks' show not long ago. Actually the show is a few years old but I wasn't aware of it being posted online until recently. During the conversation Jody mentions Annette being the first impact player ever to sign with the Horns, and tells a funny story about recruiting her. For those interested in Texas Women's BB, the interview was wonderful, and contained a lot of great history. There are some really funny anecdotes including about the team still wearing skirts when JC first arrived, and even having to share uniforms with the VB squad. The best story was about her first ever recruiting trip with Lopiano, and small town Texas' introduction to Donna (and sugar being spilled on the table when less than appropriate language was used). And coincidentally, that first ever recruiting trip was to see the same coach who just sent us Lilley VanderZee (and who's daughter is a former Horn and Hall of Honor member). Anyway I'm sure most have seen the video, but if not I highly recommend it.
