I just gotta say as a Texas Ranger Fan, the the Josh Hamilton saga couldn't be going any better. Hate to wish ill to a guy who contributed some great moments for the Rangers, but what his contract is doing to the Angels is good for us.

LOL I doubt the Angels are sweating the Rangers much after seeing that mess they call a starting rotation and hitting lineup Wow, hard times have really leveled the Arlington clubhouse. The Astros even have superior starting pitching and a lot more deep ball power in the bats these days. Looks like the 'stros finally gonna overtake the Rangers in the AL West. With that cheap, clown owner in Houston I'd be quite embarrassed.

Actually the No-Longer-Lastros bested the Rangers by 3 games in 2014. As a Rangers fan I am reduced to Rangers normalcy, expecting less than 80 wins and reviewing minor minor league rosters as I hope for better times next year.

Glad you pointed that out. Guess that shows my lacking loyalty and interest in either Texas club as of late. I pull for them both against any non-Texas team, but just not a big fan of the pro game like college. Same goes with basketball. But def love both college and pro football.

I was a pretty committed 'stros fan during the Killer B's and also as a kid in the 80's. When they made a deep run in the MLB playoffs a while back and then abandoned the winning commitment right after, it really soured me to the organization.

And then this new Astros owner and his penny pinching destruction of the roster was too much to even hang on by a thread. I wish them well, but will never be on board with that guy's greedy lack of winning commitment. He embodies everything that keeps me from returning interest to the pro game.

I do wish you luck with your Rangers making it back to the top levels. They were fun to watch in the recent runs and definitely played with class. Sounds like you're taking the rebuild pretty well.
