I wasn't aware he still played Tennis. I look at the results after the first day or two of an event and his name is nowhere to be found. Maybe he's going to focus on that stellar radio show he and that Bobby Blades guy have.
That would motivate almost any guy to want to retire if they were already rich. Doesn't he have a charity or foundation? I would assume he's going to work at that and likely benefit people.
I"m thinking his wife kept him so busy that his heart wasn't in tennis anymore. Somebody in the US needs to step up in men's tennis and started being competitive in the grand slam events again. Hell, Roddick was the last American to win a major (U.S. Open) back in 2003. Roddick had a huge serve, but that was about it.
