Does this rival the Chris Simms recruiting moment for Mack Brown, which led to the avalanche of great recruits through the years? Too early to tell, I know, but this is a big day for the Horns.
Is this a turning point we will all look back upon in years to come...time will tell.

Another implication of both of these blue chips coming to Austin --- suggests that Bedford has called CSU and told them, no thanks, not right now.

Can't imagine Bedford stringing these two recruits along at the end, only to jump in a couple of weeks to a head coaching gig elsewhere. Plenty of time for him later.

Also, the recruits were sure to see the news blips on his name mentioned, and certainly he told them directly and with emphasis (in the way Bedford does "...better get on the train now, it's leavin' the station, it's time to get on the train..") that he's not leaving the 40 Acres any time soon.

Nice to know Vance will be around for a couple of more years at least, as well.

I woke up this morning and had a good feeling.

Welcome to the future of the Texas Program, the future of recruiting at Texas, and the decisive beginning of the power shift back to Texas. Considering the timing -- Dcember, not signing Day -- and the current status of the program, I'm not sure there has been a more significant recruiting development in recent memory.
