Yee-haw! It appears he will be gone from the TV booth, and I can't believe he could actually win a senate race, so we will be rid of his mug for a lengthy period of time.

I do realize they are mostly crooks but to allow the rooster into the hen house would just be assanine.

I'll amend my previous post to say now that he's suing over Leach's book chances are he won't be back until that's settled if at all.
 
I don't know how this guy is gonna fade the heat from the Craig James killed 5 hookers rumors.

For those of you who don't know, Craig James is said to have killed 5 hookers while at SMU.

If James wins the Republican nomination, he will win the Senate race, as the Democrat party in Texas is a failed, washed up, useless collection of leftists, idiots, and fools.

Don’t blame the voters for not wanting such a candidate in office. Look at the facts:

The last time a Democrat was a US Senator, there was a Soviet Union.

The only Democrats left in the House are in gerrymandered inner city hellholes, or in illegal alien country along the border.

The Democrat party in the Texas legislature is not just a minority, but a super minority. There have no political power, or control, they just observe what happens, much like the visitors to the Capitol building.

The Texas Democrat party has zero statewide office holders. Zero. None, zilch. The following political parties have as many statewide elected officials as the Texas Democrat Party:

Libertarians
Greens
Tories
Socialists
Communists
Fascists
National Socialists
Whigs
Flat Earth Society

The Texas Democrat party is a joke. Poorly run, devoid of ideas, and a complete waste of time. It’s a vestige, a useless appendix. Much like an appendix it can get clogged up with crap and cause problems, but fortunately the voters have cut it out of power and thrown it into the medical waste bin, where it belongs.

Don’t blame the voters for not wanting to put someone from that party into power.
 
Re-watching aggy game and wondered what James was thinking while on screen saying, "I'm a fifth generation Texan." Later he mentions being a Texan and having attended games since he was a boy. He must have relished getting the exposure just days before announcing his campaign. Certainly his timing was intentional.
 
I am also wondering if CRAIG JAMES did indeed kill 5 HOOKERS.

For a bit of irony, perhaps the highest ranking Texas democrat is John Sharp, Chancellor, Texas A&M. Although Perry sometimes appears to be liberal, wanting to give in-state tuition rates for illegal aliens, force 14-year old girls to have HPV innoculations whether their parents want it or not (yeah, they can opt out, but why not opt IN?, that would be the more conservative position), and is a huge supported of one of the biggest proposed boondoggles in Texas history, the Trans Texas
Corridor with toll roads owned by foreigners.

IMHO Perry is a poser; he WAS a democrat, but switched when he saw the changing politicol landscape in Texas.

I know a lot of aggys who are really liberals at heart; just bleed maroon and get into the gay pheg tee-you bashing stuff.

Perry is a big business Republican, what I call the chamber of commerce crowd. Anything for business. So illegals are fine with him, as they work cheap and you don't have to pay pesky things like SSI, or unemployment insurance, or workman's comp.

The vaccine was lobbied by Merke, who stood to do a brisk sale of a state mandated drug. The trans Texas gash was another way for big businesses and cronies to make lots of money. So his support for these things was predicable.
 
Bill White was a viable candidate, and a decent mayor. It's an indication of how toxic the label Democrat is for a statewide candidate that White lost, and lost by as much as he did.
 
There are plenty of elected democrats in Texas; they just got elected as republicans. Perry is a conservative democrat; he just switched parties so he could move up.

The dems screwed up when they started nominating Austin jerkoff liberals like Lloyd Doggshit instead of Lubbock moderate Kent Hance. Guys like Doggshit go over great in Austin but get run over everywhere else.

Ann Richards tickled dems with her supposed wit but went over like aluminum biscuits with most everybody else. Even a complete dork like Claytie Williams almost beat her.

James might get the dem nomination if he ran for it but would lose in November. INstead he runs as a republican and loses this spring. Look forward to watching that.
