Anyone ever live there? Pros and cons? Macanudo, you out there?

My parents lived there for 4 years (2000-2004), I went up there for summers and a couple of winters during college.

Pros- great place in the summer (mild temps and long days) and there are a ton of outdoor activities. Loved the fishing and hiking.

Cons- expensive, winters are tough (only a few hours of sunlight each day) so combining little to no sunlight with very cold temps and snow make for a loooong winter. My mom had one of those 'happy lights'- tripped me out.
