These guys on the postgame show act like the zone D is our base defense. Anyone with this opinion has only watched the last 3 Texas games. Our man D is as good as anyone's when we want to play with intensity, just ask KU the first time around.

A lot of posters on here say that the best team won today, but they aren't giving Texas enough credit. We are the team that beat UCLA, Tennesee and KU this year (before this, KU's best win was against OU). We had a lot going against us today, the only difference between these 2 teams isn't talent, its that KU got the extra energy boost from a home crowd.

The thing about KU's "best win" is that it doesn't mean they wouldn't beat those teams. It's not like they've been unable to beat top teams. Can you honestly tell me that the team you just saw wouldn't beat anybody? Strength of schedule is one factor, but it doesn't take a genius to look at KU and know that they're a top tier team regardless of who they've played.

I'm not saying that KU isn't one of the best team this season, but it appears to me like Texas is being dismissed after this loss. You say that KU would probably beat teams IF they played them but ignore the fact that Texas went out and played and WON most of those games. People who say that KU is the better team piss me off b/c there is no one from KU's starting 5 that I'd take over DJ and Damion.

If you want to continue to believe that KU is the better team, that if fine. I firmly believe that if this game was played in Dallas, the good guys would've come out on top. Texas has the resume to back it up and just ran into a team that was destined to win today based on the location of the tourney this year.
