David A's (the 12 year old) dad has been banned from auditions and being backstage. This makes two TV shows he's been banned from. (He was banned from Star Search a few years ago.)

I feel sorry for this kid if he loses. I imagine his dad will give him crap the rest of his life.

I have never voted for anyone in American Idol, but reading stories about this guy makes me want to vote for that kid if only to give him the ability to support himself and cut all ties with his dad.

He's got a great voice but it's his youth that might hold him back from winning. and what's up with over controlling parents? good grief, I feel bad for the kid.

David Cook is my favorite.
