i am planning to go to a maverick game in a few weeks and was wondering what hotels are nearby so that i would not have to drive to the arena. maybe take a cab or other transporation if available. thanks for the info.

The Anatole is not too far away. You'd have to take a cab though...

Amerisuites in the West End would be my suggestion. You can walk to the stadium from there and have a lot of eateries around you. Anything in the West End is good.

Anywhere downtown is an option too. At worst, you can catch the DART train to the West End station and walk the rest of the way. (About a quarter mile)

W is the closest obviously. if you want cheaper, there is a bradford suites hotel just 2 blocks away, can walk from there, and it's a decent hotel.
