Wow, this season is really, really finishing with a whimper. As much as I usually enjoy AR I've gotta say that I'm really just waiting for this one to be over. This may have been one of the least suspenseful legs in AR history.

TK & Rachel get the earliest flight to Osaka that none of the other teams even hear about & appear to have a 90 minute jump on everyone else. They then vanish for the next 45 minutes of the show which we can only assume was due to missing a connecting flight or massive airport congestion (they had to make 2 connections while the other teams that left later only had to make 1). All I know is that whatever the cause of their delays it must have been so boring that the producers decided there was no need for them to tell the audience what happened. As a result, they came in dead last, 3 hours behind the others but luckily were saved by this being a non-elimination leg.

Meanwhile the other teams fumbled around Osaka, dealing w/ cab drivers that were either lost or apparently about to die behind the wheel (Ron & Christina). Christina, it turns out, spent 6 mos. in Japan & speaks the language which helped her w/ the detour (driving a cab in downtown traffic). We also discover that Christina can barely drive a car. Nathan & Jennifer take the lead despite the fact Jenn seems more interested in how hot she looks wearing the cabbie hat & gloves (answer: very hot, thanks to her sweat glistened bazoombas) than the passengers in the back seat. Nicolas once again shows that his navigating skills make him the pilot I least want to see in the cabin of a plane I'm boarding.

The roadblock was your basic needle in a haystack or try the unknown challenge. Only Nicolas & gramps chose to play robot soccer (wow...did the "master" operators give them a break w/ the goalies or what? I think they just gave their robots the command to fall off the table & break while gramps took an hour to move his player 18") while the other teams found the real flowers in the shop full of millions of fakes.

The only suspense was seeing Nate & Jenn once again seemingly on their way to a first place finish only to fall victim to cabbie karma. Christina's ability to speak the language allowed them to sneak out a 2nd leg victory & her dad was pretty much a nice guy throughout the trek.

So it was basically an hour of no consequences other than the "will Nate & Jenn ever win a leg" drama? Will they finally pull through & win the million dollar leg as Nate was trying to explain? And will TK & Rachel make up the 3 hours & the u-turn to be competitive in the end (the teaser makes it appear as if they do).

Here's hoping the final 2 legs have more drama than the rest of the season so far. What I wouldn't give for a Mirna & Charla appearance right now.

Yeah, their flight left Mumbai and hour and a half earlier than the other teams, but that doesn't mean it was ever scheduled to get in before the other teams. Maybe I'm paranoid, but if it were me I would double and triple check my work when I got to the airport if I booked with a travel agent who didn't speak much English.

They need to stop announcing how many non-elimination legs there are. It might be my imagination, but I'm pretty sure they said there were two on the race and the final is always three teams so I knew last night was non elim.

They way they are editing the show week in and week out I'm 99.9 percent certain Nate and Jenn are going to win. Jenn is an arrogant ***** (notice again last night how she talked about being good at something and then sucked) and Nate is a moron. They are the most physically capable team left though which will pay dividends at the end.

And Ron was nice to Christina this leg, but that also might have something to do with her snapping at him early in the episode. Kudos to her for telling him to leave her alone.

I agree with mishatx. Their mistake was not looking for alternatives when they reached the airport, though if they had to board immediately, there might not have been time. Just bad luck with the travel agent that didn't completely understand the request, or didn't care enough to do a thorough search.

I think TK and Rachel will catch up within the first 5 minutes of the next show, just like every team that falls that far behind. There will either be a mandatory travel lag or some place that doesn't open for 7 hours or both. The biggest question will be how challenging the Speed Bump is. If they keep the mistakes to a minimum, I think they will overcome it. The other 3 teams are mistake prone, and 2 of them have people with physical limitations.

I'm sure TK & Rachel will catch up quickly, too. The only way the finale has a chance at being suspenseful is if 2 physical teams are in it. My guess is Ron & Christina round things out. For being old & having a hernia Ron gets around pretty well. Gramps is doing his best but even w/ Nicolas carrying his bag for him they're too slow to win unless they get far enough ahead that they can walk thru the final challenges. Then again, I didn't expect them to make it this far.

Although it would be awesome if Nate's dream of throwing his backpack @ the feet of the competition during the final race to the mat comes true. I can totally see him doing it (and Jennifer yelling at him to trip the competition), taking out the other team, finishing first, & then having Phil eliminate them for cheating. The meltdown would be epic.

Last night was the first full episode I've seen in weeks. CBS needs to just admit that their football schedule is going to go long and update their schedules so my DVR will record the whole show.

I gotta say, I'm not so into it this year that I'm upset about missing half of each episode, but I still wish CBS would fix that.

A couple of things I noticed. When they were at the travel counters, they only showed what time they left not the arrival time as usual. The producers knew what had happened and needed some suspense I guess.

If I was watching correctly, from the time the teams landed until the time they were finished was about 3-3.5 hours. I think they referenced the time delay w/TK and Rachel at one point. It was as dark when they got off the plane as when the other teams were finishing.

Didn't seem that grueling amount of time is Osaka.

One thing I've wished for several seasons now is for them to add a small clock on the bottom of the screen so we can see what time each event is happening so we can compare it to other people at different stages in the race. With last night I thought TK/Rachel were like 12 hours apart since they didn't even appear in the show until after dark, and then it turned out they were 3 hours behind, which is nothing in this race.

Classic line from last night was Nate saying "I can't listen to you right now Jenn, I'm trying to watch this cabbie drive the car." Wtf?? You cant listen to your amazingly hot girlfriend because your trying to focus on a cab driver? It goes right up there with "STOP THIS CAR VIXEN!"

Absolute best part of the show last night was when grandpa called his grandson his ***** when he was talking about him carrying his bag.

Second best was seeing Jenn in that hat wondering how good she looked because she was

Jen is hot but I can't handle her attitude. She cannot handle adversity whatsoever.
I have things I like and things I dislike about each pair left. I guess I won't be disappointed in whomever wins.

I don't know if anyone caught it, but in the preview to next weeks show, all the teams were in an airport (at a ticket counter I believe). So it looks like TK and Rachel catch up pretty quickly.

It's been a couple of days since the show was on, but I remember laughing more at this particular episode than I had any so far this season. Nate and Jen's absurd conversations are always comedy gold.
