AM to SEC?

I saw this on the ESPN site but it required a paid subscription to be an insider. With all the drama of the coaching situation done and over with... well theres nothing much going on. I am wondering if this is a way to get people to pay for their service. I am sure it is speculation as always.

The link is called "How Texas A&M Lands in the SEC."

aggy, if you have the invitation that you say you have - go as it will be a win, win for both conferences (SEC gains a doormat and the Big XII gains by subtraction).

I wonder why aggy and tools like Bohls always try to lump the land thieves in with aggy. OU has made their intentions known on many occasions. They want to start their own hillbilly network that will rival UT's network or something like that. To team up with A&M is non-value added for them. One would think that at some point, those wishful thinking aggy folks, along with others of the like (Bohls) would let it go.

So.. basically same old crap from this summer. Recycling news stories to keep interest is lame. What ever will us football lovers do once the Super bowl is over. With all the drama of this season... perhaps a break is in my future.

Good to see the Basketball team is kicking some ***. Just hope they can maintain the momentum deep into the tournament. Then there is baseball. I wish the LHN was up and running so I could watch some games. Before you know it we will be on the edge of our seats waiting in anticipation of the 2011 season and what mysteries our new Staff can produce from our deep talent pool of Recruits and student athletes.

I still have major doubts about this happening. "A&M to SEC" requires the SEC to want A&M, and as long the SEC keeps winning BCS Championship after BCS Championship, the conference won't see any need to change anything. All these conference expansions are happening to improve said conferences, but because the SEC is clearly on top, they have no need to expand or change anything. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's why this deal won't happen anytime soon.

Never happen. Perry would rather see the four major institutions in TX stick together.

I would love to see A&M go to the SEC. They would go ape **** over it at first and then be wanting to hang their admins over the stupidity of such a move after a year or two.

I guess I can hook up my computer to the TV... not great quality though. I hope the new network broadcasts in HD.
