I hear folks often discuss how the Tex/OU/A&M triangle is very similar to Mich/OSU/MSU...

Check out these stats:

Texas defeats OU 58.3% of the time.
Michigan defeats OSU 57.7% of the time.

Texas defeats A&M 66.2% of the time.
Michigan defeats MSU 69.5% of the time.

And in other news...

Texas defeats Tech 75.4% of the time.
Michigan defeats Purdue 77.4% of the time.

I guess that means that A&M is 9% better than Tech.

And Texas defeats Michigan 100% of the time and tOSU roughly 50% of the time!

One problem in comparison, Michigan State has won 3 national championships in football. 1952, 1965, 1966. Not completely like aggy. I would say new mexico state and utah state are closer to aggy

MSU has the same sort of inferiority complex regarding Michigan. They desperately want Michigan to notice them. Michigan could not care less.

Since I've lived this one, I wish it weren't true, but it is.
