Here is his quote:

"Long story short, my mom thought she was helping me out," Raven said in an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday evening. "I wasn't home and she sent it in. I never told her I had changed my mind to Texas A&M. I forgive her for it. It was an honest mistake."

i'm not sure that anyone thinks we cleaned up. i think some are happy with the fact that we finished relatively strong with alexander and raven, but cleaning up is a huge overstatement.

We laugh at them. It really isn't very complicated.
For instance, Texags boyz rates their class at #4, ours at
#5, while the "big boys" rates them up in the 40s. That is

I would agree with Prop. I don't think that we "cleaned up" however we did address some needs, especially on defense and Manziel could be very good for us. I am pleased with how we did.

The reality is that UT will mostly get the kids they want and with Stoops and Les also looking at Texas kids, the ability to "clean up" is pretty far fetched. Since Mack came in and changed the game I have contended that we should not focus on outrecruiting Texas because it is a losing proposition. Instead we should be focused on beating out OU, LSU, OSU, etc. for kids. If we can win those recruiting battles as well as win a head to head with the Horns every now and then, we will be just fine.

Candidly, we are not there yet. Our program is still at a point where we need to work harder to identify talented kids who may not be at the top of everyone's recruiting board and then coach them up to be really good players in our system. Hopefully, if we can do that while continuing to make in-roads within the state and heal relationships with the high school coaches, then we can become a winning program that is attractive to some of the elite players in the state.

I live in ultra conservative Orange County California and the people her think aggy is all about sex with animals and squeezing one's testicles. You guys are too weird for average Americans. Should we be ragging on the recruiting success of failure of a team that is 3-2 against Texas the past five years? By the rankings, TCU hasn't recruited all that well during the past few years, but they would have beaten us by 30 the past season.

Rankings mean jack **** if the players don't perform.

There are some good players in this class but I think that Aggies are mainly irritated by who we missed:

Charles Jackson
Tevin Mims
Kenny Williams

for example.

This is a solid class but not a great one. Next year will be indicative of wether or not Sherm can capitalize off improved performance or if he is just a weak recruiter.
