Alphabetizing Bookmarks in FIrefox

There's gotta be a way. I am accumulating too many bookmarks to sift through them all to find what I need. An alphabetical listing would be genius.

I have the anti problem to this thread. About an hour ago I did something on accident and all the bookmarks were alphabetized...and now I cant go back to how it was...grrrr

Ive only been using firefox for a couple of days...i like it.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but is there anyway to get the bookmarks to appear on the left side of the screen like you can with internet explorer?
