all your white wine

Are you talking about Caymus Conundrum Chardonnay or Conundrum Chardonnay? There are two and it is slightly confusing keeping track.

Conundrum 2006. It's no longer Caymus (explicitly, that's still the backing vineyard), and it's not a chard, it's a table wine, a blend, and no one knows what the blend is (thus the conundrum!).

I dislike Chards, but if it's a blend I might enjoy it-- where would one find this Conundrum?

Conundrum can be found at any HEB.

But, "all your white wine" are belong to Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc....not Conundrum

i love evolution. the wife and i (then the gf and i) "discovered" that wine at gilligan's restaurant @ 4th and colorado. that was such a great restaurant

y'all talked me into it, I'll have to try it.

speaking of wines, recently bought a couple of bottles of a Napa Cab called Inissis or something like that, from Jo Phelps. I think it was the 05, but I'm old and my memory sucks.

anyway, damn fine wine for the price <$25

oh, since reds were brought up, we killed two bottles of charles krug generations at delmonico's on saturday.

as always, they did not disappoint. definitely one of my top 4 bottles under $100.

Two EXCELLENT recommendations that we've discovered recently (thanks to a co-worker and an expensed dinner) are from the Franciscan Winery ... their Meritage (whatever year is current, I forgot to look) was fantastic (this was at dinner), and when I got home I bought the cab from HEB ($24). I believe it was an 03, might have been 04. EXCELLENT - very big, but very smooth. Not a lot of pepper, but not bitter at all - just really good.
