All Star Game

This has been an entertaining game. The Kinsler play at second was real close, but he was safe...oh well. The play at home with Navarro was also close, but once again it appears that he may have been safe. The tag was awful high on him looked like his leg slid in.

Other than that it has been good to see the Rangers hitters, save Bradley, all have hits.

Would have been fun to see Michael Young drive in the game winning run again in an All-star game, just wasn't to be. Gotta feel kinda bad for Uggla not having a memorable game.

and now the all-star game may be discussed alongside the freakin clemens story...

...i was just thinking the other day how nice it was not having to deal with hearing about the crap every day.

also, I'm a little surprised MLB didn't put a 'cap' on the number of innings in the All-Star game after the 2002 debacle. I understand the stigma of having a tie after that mess and the 'this time it counts' stuff, but it's impossible to manage this type of an exhibition when you want to play everyone but the game could go on indefinitely. Another tie would suck, but I say there should be a rule to cap it after 13 or 14 innings. If it's tied after that, the W.S. host reverts to the league who won the previous year.

Without that, we're staring at Kazmir and Webb being the last two pitchers having to pitch an indefinite amount of innings when both just through 100+ pitches on sunday.

I thought for sure one of these teams would be able to put 1 run across. Both have had a few opportunities in extras, but neither team has been able to get one across.

You're right the bullpens are depleted, and kazmir is not really a possibility. Who would've thought this would happen?

Amazing how the NL has gotten out of so many jams. I think they should end it after 13 and then flip a coin for hosting the WS. I doubt they will end it though, before a real winner.

MLB can't get replay fast enough. Replay and the game is already over. Congrats to the AL for already winning the game once.

...unless Selig decides to let previous pitchers come back into the game

Uggla - worst performance in a baseball game ever

3 errors, 3 strike outs, and a double play - two of which were with a man on third and one out...

OK, I'm bettin that the AL finally wins it in the bottom half of this inning (15th) regardless this is the last inning for me tonight...so they better.

The fact that I'm still up at this hour, and have to be up in about 4-5 hrs = good game!

Damn you, NL! I thought we had it!
