Aldrich and Collins returning

That's because they are already there in Keith Ramsey, Justin Safford and Lawrence Bowers. The perimeter will be the third best in the conference behind UT and KU...

I don't know if third best is a fair assessment of Missouri's backcourt.

Missouri was second best in the nation in assist/turnover ratio at 1.56. Next best in the conference was ISU at 1.15 (41st best in the country). That is an astounding drop off, one that might be heavily influenced by Missouri also being 2nd in the country in steals per game.

OK, Carroll had a significant effect on the second stat, being a long armed crazy man harrassing ballhandlers 85 feet from the basket, and he's gone, but the fact remains that even with as much helter skelter ram it down the floor as fast as possible as Missouri played, their guards were very, very good at protecting the ball. Only Nebraska turned the ball over fewer times, and they played at half speed. I don't know if anyone does a team turnover to point ratio, but I'm guessing MIssouri comes out very well in that stat, and easily would be the best in the conference.

Dewitt may not be quite ready to really produce as a freshman, but he has ball handling skills. MIssouri doesn't have anyone able to handle Aldrich or Pittman or Elonu next year, but if Safford and Ramsey can hit free throws, MIssouri will be a very nasty team to play next year.

Yeah...I go to Mizzou. I know how good our guards are. Not as good as Bradley and Co. will be and not as good as Collins/Taylor/Henry. Therefore, third. Not sure we're better than Clemente or Pullin either, but definitely deeper.
