Alcatraz at Night

Does anyone know how to get tix to this gig if they are sold out at Alcatraz Cruises, which is supposed to be the best way to do this? I was really wanting to go, but looks like I'm SOL. Is this worth taking if it isn't at night -- this would be a first visit to Alcatraz for me and the other person i'm going with.

It is great regardless of the time of day. Google "Alcatraz Tours' there are comanies that resale spots.

I went about 2 months ago to the daytime tour. It was really good and while the night one would be sweet, you would at least get to see more during the day. Do the day tour and you will not be disappointed.

take the tour no matter what time. It is better at night if you can get tickets.

I took the 1st day trip of the morning and it was great. I would enjoy my time in SF at night doing something else though.
